From a trip to Taylors Falls, Minnesota during Fall. I wasn't feeling the Fall colors, but I loved the lighting in this private hiking place alongside the St. Croix River.

I love talking about fine art and the creative process with other artists. It not only helps me understand the work at hand, it also brings more clarity to my own work.

The "Award of Merit" for the EdinaScapes Art Show goes to this photograph I captured last Summer at Centennial Lakes Park in Edina, MN!

EdinaScapes is an art show put on by the Edina Art Center in commemoration of the 125th Anniversary of Edina, MN. It will be on display until the end of July at the Art Center and then will move to the Edina Historical Society (with the other entries) for an additional showing.

The Bridge To Nowhere? In fact, yes it is. Located in Edina, Minnesota, this bridge was built in the early 1900's, but abandoned in the 1930's when traffic was rerouted to a newer roadway nearby. Today it's tucked away in the woods behind a residential area and the closest roadway is about 100 feet away. This photograph is currently on exhibition at the Edina Art Center in celebration of the city's 125th anniversary. http://ow.ly/muwlO
