Spring will be here in less than a month! Spring and summer are popular seasons for weddings, which means many of you will have anniversaries coming up. This would make a great homemade gift!

For our third anniversary, I printed off our wedding song, cut it into little hearts, and taped it to a frame. This would make a great wedding present!

"What am I capable of today? What can I cut out? How close am I to the edge? Am I just tired or hungry or is this really it?"

I ask myself these questions a lot. Very good read.
Depression is always in the back of my mind, like prey wary of the hunter, I'm always on alert. Watching for triggers. Some days are better than others.

30 St. Patrick's Day Desserts

30 festive green desserts, perfect for your St. Patrick’s Day get together! Zach and I don’t celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. For one thing, we’re not Irish. For another, I don’t feel the need to use an Irish saint as an excuse to binge drink. I can do that…

Story
Introduction
In 2012, I started a food and DIY blog called Budget Girl. Since then, it has expanded to include blogging tips, knitting, printables, an Etsy shop, and more! Feel free to follow me as I teach myself how to do things. :P
Bragging rights
I've been blogging for two years. I was featured on Buzzfeed's article, "22 Tricks to Help Speed-Clean Your Home" on August 23, 2014. I was also featured on Greatist's, "60 Awesome Ways to Spice Up Boring Chicken Breasts" on April 21, 2014. Every fall, I run a special called 13 Days of Pumpkin where I post about nothing but pumpkin for an entire month, MWF (which comes out to 13 days).
