It's another dramatic ending for Life is Strange Episode 4. A reminder of what happened, ahead of the imminent release of Episode 5 and what promises to be a hard-hitting series conclusion. https://youtu.be/B66BGNZbKtw
I just found this, via someone on twitter - great for writers who like goals and find progress reports motivating. I certainly do. It's really easy to use and visual and flexible. Can't wait to try it :)
Do you use 'guys' to address mixed gender groups? A recent twitter post made me rethink this word and how it inadvertently excludes non-male friends and colleagues. Are you ready to ditch 'guys' and what do you use instead?
It's a mixed bag. Some are simply regional colloquialism use cases appropriate for period pieces. It's not an either/or scenario, IMO.
It is certainly not an inflammatory word, unless you are starved for topics and need to manufacture 'inflammatory lite' media in story structure instead of really telling an authentic story.
When I'm teaching, anyone younger than I am I sometimes call 'kids" (not all the time - it depends on the response tone of the laughter indicating the maturity level of the ticket buyers. Once in awhile you get a mature audience, but that is at a Ted talk not comedy) and nobody really cares if the material does its job and they get their laughter takeaway.

We are so lucky to have an indie comic shop - a rare thing these days. It's packed to the rafters. An Aladdin's cave for nerds.
Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Krackers is one of the best things about Taunton and my first stop for gifts for friends. If you can't get it in Krackers, it's probably not worth having.
