Award-Winning Travel Photographer and Adventurer from New York City
Introduction

Chase Guttman is an award-winning, internationally published and exhibited travel photographer, an intrepid adventurer, and a world traveler.

In 2010, he was the first American ever to be named Young Travel Photographer of the Year, an international competition judged by museum curators and magazine editors – an honor that he won again in 2013. Guttman also was a Grand Prize Winner in National Geographic's 2011 International Photography Competition for Kids and received the Young Photographers Alliance 2012 Emerging Talent Award.

He is a contributor to LightStalking.com, FamilyTravel.com, The Huffington Post, and the New York Daily News and was named a 10 Best Travel Photography Blogger by USA Today. His evocative portraits, landscapes, and wildlife images have been featured in CNN.com, BBC.com, Photo District News, the Telegraph, and a National Geographic Publication.

Guttman has photographed for an eclectic mix of clients including Fodor’s Travel Publications, U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand’s Office, and Tauck Tours. His images have been thrice exhibited at the prestigious Royal Geographical Society in London and his solo show at the Municipal Building in New York City was opened by Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer.

The New York Institute of Photography featured Guttman as one of the world’s premier travel photographers in Top Travel Photo Tips: From Ten Pro Photographers. His photographic advice was highlighted in the Dallas Morning News, Newsday, and USA Today, and he’s the subject of an upcoming New York Institute of Photography course on travel photography. He served as a "celebrity" photography judge for ViewBug.com, has presented at China's Power of the Image exhibition, and has lectured at the International Museum of Photography and Film at the George Eastman House.

Chase Guttman has traveled to more than 45 countries and all 50 American states. He crossed Saharan dunes by camel in Morocco, tracked jaguars in the jungles of Belize, rescued baby puffins beneath the cliffs of Iceland’s Westman Islands, rode with gauchos across the Uruguayan pampas, and rafted tidal bores on the Bay of Fundy.
