You might be familiar with the bodybuilder style of exercise programming where you ‘hit’ your legs one day, your arms on another, your chest on a different day, etc. There are also full body exercises such as squats, pull-ups, etc. which target multiple muscle groups at the same time and provide a full-body workout. There are also other options for exercise programming such as having a pull day and a push day, etc.

Which approach is better? Find out from today’s video.

The squat is a very fundamental strength training exercise. A fantastic core exercise, it is commonly used as a leg exercise although the weighted version of the squat works out pretty much all the muscles in your body.

That’s why the squat is present in pretty much every strength training routine and that’s why it’s also our exercise of the week. In today’s video, we’ll take a look at how to do the most basic form of the squat, the bodyweight squat, with proper technique.

But in today’s video, we compare long distance cardio with HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) and help you figure out which serves your purpose better.
