I don't really know if it's a good practice, cause semantically, protocols are protocols (http, https, ws), not configuration things.
That's why i wrote this article, to have feedback on this practice. :)
TD;LR : the brain is a system much more complicated than just a bunch of wires and neurons in which electrical signal goes through (As Hollywood would like us to think). You gotta dig deeper; at the molecular level where proteins are generated and shapes the wires depending on their environnement (ie: electrical current, ions, quantum fluctuations, other proteins & more).
TD;LR 2 : Brain = neurons + electricity + proteins + ions + quantum randomness + more proteins + more quantum shit = We're not here yet.
There is however an interesting catch. The author clearly states that mind uploading will probably will not be possible in the close future but he does not say that it will not be possible at all.
Thanks for the article
I've got an question for you.
I'm using `pub serve` in development environment to develop a web application.
The problem is that pub serve/build don't generate source maps files ( as dart2js do) , and it can be very painful for debugging..
Do you know if there is any way to enable that ?
Thanks a lot !
My LTE + Nexus 5 connection gets better throughput than my wired Comcast plan! I wish the connection was symmetric (upload vs. download), but 13Mbps uplink is nonetheless a good start - it's enough to stream HD video directly from my phone! On the other hand, latency is about 2x compared to wired connection.. This isn't surprising, but nonetheless, as far as mobile carrier networks go, ~50ms is directly in the target zone for LTE.
Of course, latency is the primary bottleneck for web browsing... so we can't just say that the LTE connection is "faster" than my wired Comcast, but even with that, this is really impressive stuff.
