Rather amazing
A woman crosses a bamboo bridge over a canal at the Kampong Phluk commune in Siem Reap on April 12, 2018. Each monsoon the soaring stitled houses of Kampong Phluk prove their worth as the dusty Cambodian village is transformed into a deep waterway - and a draw for tourists. The village, a short tuk-tuk ride from the ancient Angkor ruins, is on the floodplain of Southeast Asia's largest freshwater lake, Tonle Sap, which transforms between the dry and wet seasons from covering 2,500 square kilometres to several times its size at the height of the monsoon rains in September and October. It was Peeragogy in real life today, as +Paola Ricaurte Quijano took a whirlwind tour of Boston with Peeragogy Handbook publisher +Charlotte Pierce. We visited Harvard's Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society, where Paola will be a visiting fellow starting in September. Congratulations Paola! #berkmanklein +Peeragogy Project

The online creative magazine FictionalCafé.com is having a virtual "party" on May 22 (your own time zone), where writers and artists from around the globe join in our 5th birthday celebration. The nucleus of the event is on our Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/369102186831752/, but we welcome links to all platforms, everywhere.

People can participate either by using the "Go Live" button on the Facebook mobile app, or via prerecorded video uploaded as a comment, or simply by typing a message out in the comments section. We'd love to see each guest use the "Check-In" feature to show where in the world they are, whether it's a gallery in Arlington MA or a music studio in Dar es Salaam! ;-)

We hope you can join with our 500 subscribers in the festivities and use the opportunity to share news about your own creative discoveries and projects - whether a website, current or upcoming book, performance, or an art exhibit.

This event is designed to bring our fans and members from all over the world together and show what we're all up to!
