Just noticed the drop of the +Charlie for my Google Plus link and move to the app menu took place in my GAFE account this week. I have to say that aesthetically I like the change. I never liked the text links. I don't like text links for mail next to the sign in button on the Google page much either.

I love the tag line for this video from Khan Academy. I also love how the connotation of failure is turned upside down! Rock On!

A nice article from the Chalkup blog. I love the first item on the list: *Grades often inhibit learning*

Here's a great explanation of how to utilize Google Docs offline. It's done in the context of need when wifi is unavailable on a flight. As always, the screenshots and visuals from Alice Keeler are fantastic!
Recently I was flying to do a Google presentation in South Carolina (I live in California). Once again, my flight did not have WiFi and I needed to work on creating presentations. Here are my tips ...

Got this from Pete McKay of The Teacher List It's a site that shows career paths for jobs the don't require a college diploma. Some of the careers are specific to Candada, but it's an interesting tool.
Raise Your Flag helps young people connect with companies who offer entry-level jobs that don’t require a degree or diploma.
