Although the fourth quarter of 2014 saw a decrease in archaeological activity compared to the fourth quarter of 2013, as a whole 2014 was on a par with 2013.

Overall the first half of 2014 is on par with 2013 with 253 licences issued this year in comparison to 251 last year.

In the first quarter of 2024 to the 31st of March there were 129 new excavation licenses issued in the Republic of Ireland.

The national road projects will undoubtedly appear, but I worry that the rest of the excavations won't unless research funds become available.

Multi-level very safe play areas for under fives and over fives. Each play area is fenced with a gate that you can watch while having a Cappuccino & scone & there's nuggets & burgers for the kids. Just outside Johnstown, needs to be signposted, with parking.
