One that is on many people's travel bucket list is the Desert Trek to Petra, Jordan. Visiting the Kingdom of Petra, you'll see an iconic facade carved right into the rock face of the canyon. There are a few ways to get to the location. Either on an air conditioned tour bus that drops you at a makeshift parking lot, or you can embark on a 50 mile, 7 day adventure crossing the desert that ends at the looming rear-entrance into Petra that most will never see.

Length: 7 days
Location: Petra, Jordan

Hidden Lake is located in Glacier National Park, in the U. S. state of Montana. Hidden Lake is surrounded by numerous peaks including Bearhat Mountain to the southwest, Clements Mountain to the north and Reynolds Mountain to the east. Great shot captured by Sashikanth.

Here is a photo of the Makapu‘u Lighthouse within Kaiwi State Scenic Shoreline. The hike offers outstanding views of the O‘ahu’s southeastern coastline, including Koko Head and Koko Crater. It's a short and windy hike, but you'll be rewarded with magnificent views of the windward coast and offshore islets.

Location: O'ahu
Distance: 2 miles (round trip)

I recently hiked Koko Head Crater Trail in Oahu this past week and took these photos. It will be your thigh's worst nightmare. It's practically like doing 1048 lunges one after the other. There is one section of the hike (about 30 feet or 30 steps) that are above the ground. But once you get to the top, you'll have a really nice breeze and 360 views. Definitely recommend this one.

Location: Oahu, Hawaii
Length: .7 miles / 1-3 hours
Stairs: 1048

The malasadas at Leonards in #Hawaii  are some of the best pastries I've ever had. They are perfectly doughy, hot, and crispy all at the same time then coated with granulated sugar to give it a really nice flavor.

View from the top of the Red Rocks in Sedona, Arizona. The views are breath-taking. Can you spot the people on the right? Daring aren't they.

One of my favorite sandwich shops! It's fresh, affordable, and 100% amazing. My two favorite sandwiches: The Grilled Chicken & Cheddar and the Wreck.

Rated the best Gelato in the world, I can see why. You won't be eating air here. The gelato is extremely creamy and holds true to the flavor you order. My favorite is the salted caramel.

Can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches. The Salumi with fresh mozzarella, the Porchetta, The Mole, Smoked Paprika, Salumi Salami... you'll just have to come back and try them all. I think I just drooled on my keyboard.

Swanky but approachable. Located just outside of Chinatown, this place gets high marks for food, decor and service. The truffle fries with caviar and deviled eggs were incredible, a MUST for any first timer.

You won't find anything gourmet here but you will find the finest beef and buns around. Beef that is always fresh, never frozen. This is your 2AM burger, it's cheap, tastes great and a place that will never let you down. Try the old-fashioned creamy milkshakes or the REAL potatoes that are cut fresh daily by hand.

The holy grail of all restaurants in Seattle. The service is orchestrated to perfection, with buttoned up wait staff, perfectly folded table clothes, glasses lined up, and silverware setup for a full course meal. This is the ultimate date night or special occasion restaurant with unprecedented views of Lake Union.
