What I noticed was that this video is a much better explination of step three in this video http://youtu.be/MqYx_FYiAAg. Would you agree? I would go further to say that beginners should practice this first and when they have this down then practice the weight transfer of the wrist shot.

Yes, this is meant to be a detailed explanation of the fundamental movement of raising the puck. It's a building block that is used in a lot of shots.

Seems to be a great weight loss tool also. You lost ten pounds just from standing on them. :)

My wife an I were in for a convention and needed a clean safe room to stay in and this place fit the bill. There is no exercise room or pool but for four nights at less than the cost of one night close to the French Quarter it's well worth it. It is 9 minutes from the Convention center and a very easy drive. There is plenty of parking in the French Quarter and this was over Halloween so if you go on an off weekend there should be even more parking. The staff was friendly and the neighborhood is changing but still economically depressed. Still, we never felt threatened by the neighborhood and I'd stay here again if we ever go back. The room has WiFi and they provided a microwave and mini fridge at our request. There is only one chair in the room and no desk but with laptops and tablets we made due. Really, we spent most of our time at the convention and in the French Quarter so this was just a place to shower and sleep and if your in New Orleans that's what it should be.

When they make you sign those forms stating YOU are responsible for anything your insurance doesn't cover. Check every thing they charge you for. I started PT using their facility and was told by the physician the PT was cover under insurance and I've had PT before and it was covered 100%. A month after treatments were over I received invoicing for almost $800 from OMMA. When asked, billing said "we have no way of knowing". BS, they bill all the time they know what isn't covered in their invoicing. Had they just given me notice the billing difference was around $100 I could have made a decision. But nothing. I'll pay it but they have lost a customer.

Stopped to get my skates sharpened before practice. At the skate sharpening island in the middle of the store was one teenage boy sharpening a pair of skates and seemingly just talking to two other teens that appeared to be his friends. When I asked him to sharpen my skates he said it would be at least two hours because of a backlog of skates that need sharpening. Here's the thing, the other skates were left to be sharpened and I was there and waiting so instead of sharpening my skates and allowing me to browse the store and buy something else he essentially sent me away. Not great for business but what does a teen care? I stopped at the counter on my way out and asked where their puck bags were, they had no idea and informed me that they didn't think they sold them. I'm sticking with Jerry's and Gunzos from now on.
