Recent Nikon D5000 shots. Still trying to capture what I can with my 35mm f1.8 since I haven't replaced my wide angle zoom lens. Portrait photography is nice, but sometimes you just want to step back and take in the whole scene, you know? Challenging myself to deal with direct snow shots and also some off-centering of the sun without capturing flares. No post processing in any of these shots (I usually don't post process anyways because lack of time).

I hope you enjoy seeing Alaska! Any tips on how I could expose the car more while still capturing the setting sun in the sun set pic?

+Zeb McClure , I know, I'm kind of an odd duck. I'm much more of a "city boy". When I visited New York 14 years ago, I thought I'd be awkward, but I honestly felt right at home. And I've always felt like that in every city I've been to: Seattle, Dallas/Ft. Worth, San Francisco, Portland. The lazy country-style life doesn't really suit me because I just love being on-the-go and traveling! Maybe when I grow up I'll learn to settle down! haha

I have learned that despite not being able to swim, I need to be near a large body of water, like a coast. I loved Colorado, but the altitude and centralized location is too much for me.

Rinzler in Alaska. Nikon D5000 with 35mm prime lens. Only edited to brighten up the car a bit, otherwise clouds, water and light rays were all natural. I hate wasting time editing. Try to get it right the first time! haha

I took a super quick break during my lunch and saw this 2015 WRX Limited off to the side of the road. I quickly turned around and snapped a shot. I actually like the wheels and headlights in person.

Having seen three STI's now and this being my first WRX in person, for once I'd have to say I prefer the WRX. Because of how silly the design is being based off the Impreza, the WRX has a very understated, purposeful look. You know it's meant for the road. The STI, however, looks like it's trying too hard to be a rally monster.

I've owned both, and performance-wise I'd pick the STI, but I think the WRX is still the better bang for the buck for a daily driver.

You're so weird Chano lol. Don't like the STI with bigger wheels and tires and a huge aggressive STI spoiler. Like the same thing with smaller wheels and tires and a lip spoiler.

My car is parked barely 30 metres from my office building right in front of my window. I always take one last look before going in and I glance at it throughout the day. Well over 61,000 km (38k miles USDM) and I still never get bored looking at Rinzler or driving him. My beautiful friend!
