SuperSU updated to v2.02 - L fixes
This update primarily fixes some L-related issues.
An L internal zygote crash which output and exit code could propagate into su's output (thus giving root apps unexpected results) has been fixed. Not sure how many apps had issues with this, but I'm sure there are a few. If you're a dev and have noticed SIGABORTs, this is that issue.
App UIDs on L are subject to change between app un/reinstalls, which could cause SuperSU's tamper-detection to auto-deny root access. This has been fixed.
SuperSU apparently also wasn't working correctly on L when SELinux was set to permissive. This has been tested and remedied.
Lastly, SuperSU now shows you a notification to inform you when the binary needs to be updated.Google Play
This update is not
available through Google Play as of yet. It involves a binary update - always potentially troublesome -, and most of the fixes only apply to L preview users right now. Though I do encourage tech-savvy users to try the latest version regardless of which Android version they are on, I don't want to force it on the Play users just yet.Links
