Fujifilm X-Pro 1 First thoughts
Yesterday the fuji x-pro 1 finally arrived on my desk and after playing around with it for a couple of days, here are some quick thoughts.

Auto Focus isn't nearly as bad as everyone's been talking about. I don't know what kind of camera they have been comparing it to or used to, but it focuses much faster then my previous prosumers dslrs did. Its not the fastest thing in the world. Your not going to be shooting pro-level sports with it, but I don't think thats the audience this was made for.

Aperture Flickering is freaking annoying... I don't know why the camera does it, but it needs to stop. Its not loud, it doesn't vibrate the camera very much, but its annoying. Please fix this.

Shutter Sounds is quite, very very quite. Its a lot softer then my Bessa rangefinder and very very close to the same noise level as a Leica.

Ergonomics I've been walking around with my film rangefinder for so long, I really miss the film advance lever to put my thumb in when I carry the camera around. I can buy something thats supposed to mimic this, but its over my price range for right now. I have a feeling thats why the EpsonRD-1x has the film advance lever on its digital rangefinder.

Manual Focus is actually really nice. I've been using my nokton 35mm f/1.4 more then the fuji lens, and I've had no issues manually focusing the lens through the EVF without the 10X magnification option.

Electronic Viewfinder is alright. Its not as smooth as I would have hoped, but it will get the job done.

Optical Viewfinder is pretty nice as well with the whole hybrid overlay, but I've turned everything off but the shooting info, AF, and the frame count.

Anything I missed? Let me know what you want to know.
