Just wow.

Horsehead Nebula

The Horsehead Nebula (also known asBarnard 33 ) is a dark nebula in the constellation Orion. The nebula is located just to the south of the star Alnitak, which is farthest east on Orion's Belt, and is part of the much larger Orion Molecular Cloud Complex. The nebula was first recorded in 1888 byScottish astronomer Williamina Fleming on photographic plate B2312 taken at theHarvard College Observatory. The Horsehead Nebula is approximately 1500 light yearsfrom Earth. It is one of the most identifiable nebulae because of the shape of its swirling cloud of dark dust and gases, which bears some resemblance to a horse's head when viewed from Earth.

Out to Blair Valley to watch the Geminids and get some snaps. Not very many events...140 photos and 3 with meteors. Lot's of fun...cold though. I'd like advice from people that "process" RAW images.

Pictured are Pleiades, Andromeda, the Milky Way, and a meteor  #astrophotography   #nightphotography

I've been a customer of GP since 2007 and bought a Husqvarna TE450 from them in 2009. I go in there 4 or 5 times a year typically for parts or to drool over some new bike and I have always received personalized attention. The sales, parts, and repair are friendly, competent, and helpful.

My wife and I go diving on the Lois Ann a couple of times a year. The crew is so thoughtful, my wife gets cold and the Divemaster would get her a hot cup of tea and a jacket. The boat is well maintained and the crew is well trained which is at the top of my list when choosing a charter. They know the good spots in San Diego to dive including the deep wrecks (p38 and Hogan). They can pump nitrox at sea which puts them in a class by themselves. What keeps us coming back to this boat is the personalized attention and care from the Captain and Divemaster.
