I love the tips at the end of the article. I had never thought of giving readers the option to report a dead link! That's so smart!

I must have missed something. Isn't it something that Google has always frowned upon?
The search giant has started placing more value on press releases, but only in certain circumstances.

"The fight lies within. There isn't that much help out there. One 800 numbers don’t really know how to help because we don’t want them to know everything. We normally don’t reach for them anyway since we know they won’t understand. Or at least we think they won’t."

I believe in the power of social media. Social media can be used to build relationships between consumers and businesses. Social media can also be used to foster conversations that make the world a better place.

"Why would anyone buy from you at all if you keep giving it away? You're in business, not running a charity. Don't forget the value of your time. Your expertise and experience didn't come cheap, either."  - +Jackie Harder

"While it’s true that “mobile-friendly” sites will fare better after the update, the change shouldn’t be cause for a nervous breakdown. Lost in all the gloomy talk is the tremendous opportunity the update presents for those looking to enhance their online presence and maybe even find new markets and additional revenue. Embracing the change will give business owners an excuse to discover new options, mine new data and explore a whole new submarket." - +Mike Canarelli

#mobilegeddon   #google
The prophetic howls from the cyber soothsayers about Google’s looming update make for great headlines. But what you are not being told is probably much more interesting and far more pedestrian than all the windy, doom-laden bleating now darkening the technological horizon. The update, dubbed ‘mobilegeddon’ by its critics, is scheduled for release on April 21 …

I have been thinking of launching my own podcast for several months now. However, as time is of the essence, I don't think it will ever happen.

With that said, I like reading posts on the topic just in case.

In this short introduction, +nik parks contends that it's actually better to ask people to be guests rather than offering to buy them a cup of coffee in exchange for brain picking.

I agree. People will make time for you if they see you value and respect their work...

If you just check direct mentions, you are missing half of the shares (at least)...

Do you know who shares your content on Twitter? Your answer will probably go like this: “I use the mentions feature. So, yes I do.” Actually, you are wrong. You can only spot half the shares.

I am originally from France and finding French food that tastes as such in Winnipeg can be challenging. Chez Sophie is the best French restaurant in the city. The owners have done a fantastic job promoting themselves and adapting to the local audience. Update: The pizza recipe has changed. The service as well. I'm not as impressed as I used to be!

The first couple of times I visited, the service and food were less than impressive. I am glad I decided to give this restaurant another chance, as things have improved greatly.
