Congratulations, #linkedin ! 300 million is a huge number.

I know, I know, it's not as big as Facebook or Google+, but the goals of the platform are different...

Some stats are included in the article.

LinkedIn may never be as big as Facebook, but the social network for professionals continues growing at a steady pace.

Another Blog Network Hit by Google

This is one that claimed that it had "Zero Footprint" - but it looks like they got stomped.  They no longer rank for their brand name.

Expect this to keep happening.  Google is going to take them down one by one.
Google’s Matt Cutts somewhat confirmed on Twitter that Google has taken action on another guest blogging network. This network is named PostJoint and claims “there’s no footprints.” Someone tweeted to Matt that PostJoint was penalized. In fact, if you check out Google for a search on their name, their web site no longer ranks on […]

Confirmed Earth-sized exoplanet in habitable zone

The +NASA Kepler team just announced the confirmed existence of an Earth-sized planet orbiting in the habitable zone of its host star.

This planet is about 500 light years away from our solar system in the constellation Cygnus the swan. It's orbiting an M-dwarf star, also known as a red dwarf, which are the most abundant known stars in our Milky Way galaxy.

The planet's orbit is about 130 days, compared to our 365 days, and since the star is much cooler than the Sun, receives about 1/3 of the solar radiation. The warmth of the planet is unknown, because that would depend on composition of its atmosphere, which has not been established at this point.

50 Great Content Curators - Cendrine Marrouat
One of our favorite Internet marketing Bedouin Cendrine Marrouat made my month yesterday when she named me to her 5 Social Media Pros To Follow List ( ). As Cendrine was writing nice things about me that equally apply to her I had Cendrine on our 50 Great Content Curators list for today.

A great "wonky" writer Cendrine is one of the hardest working "bands" in #contentmarketing . My post about Cendrine discusses a common characteristic we've observed in every great Internet marketer we know (and we know a passel of 'em).

Every great IMer we know creates a positive virtual cycle - the learn fast to work harder. Many of the really smart people I know bank the efficiency of their intelligence. Great IMers know to take nothing for granted. When they get smarter they double down knowing the end of the current thing that makes them "smart" is assured and going to happen sooner rather than later.

Cendrine creates a positive virtual cycle where her hard work rewards those lucky enough to know, follow and interact with her need to work LESS because she is working so hard and smart, smart and hard. If you don't know or already follow +Cendrine Marrouat across the many platforms she writes for, curates too and supports you should.

Things that were said in this article is actually why I started new profiles recently. I don't want something I said back in 2011-2012-2013 when I wasn't a serious professional to affect me now.

I am originally from France and finding French food that tastes as such in Winnipeg can be challenging. Chez Sophie is the best French restaurant in the city. The owners have done a fantastic job promoting themselves and adapting to the local audience. Update: The pizza recipe has changed. The service as well. I'm not as impressed as I used to be!
