ThinLinc client on ARM!

The latest "nightly build" includes an ARM client, more exactly for a Linux "hard-float" system such as Fedora 20, Ubuntu 12.10 etc. Follow the development on:
https://www.cendio.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=4756

And download the nightly build client from:
http://www.cendio.com/downloads/clients/

The ARM-client will be included in the 4.2 release that we expect before the end of April. For the older "soft-float" systems, stay tuned (or bug us about it!)!

Do you?
1) Run your ThinLinc client on Ubuntu with Unity
2) Run your ThinLinc client in a window instead of full screen
3) Often run Emacs or another program that uses the Alt-key

In that case, you benefit from changing the setting so that the Alt-key no longer brings up the HUD or else the alt-key will not work in your ThinLinc window. Read how here:

Access to local drives in the MAC-client is now fixed and will be included in the upcoming ThinLinc 4.2 release.

If you really need it right away, it's available in the untested nightly build:

This is a cute video from an exotic part of Sweden (Karlstad) describing the benefits of using ThinLinc with smartcards in a workplace where people move around a lot. In this case in health care.

Notice how profoundly happy you get just because of ThinLinc :D
