Creating special moments is what a wedding is all about.

Choosing a team of professionals to support you is very important.

An awesome Celebrant, Photographer, Wedding Stylist will support you and guide your in your planning.

You need to decide what are the special element that are important to you.
Is it the smell of fresh flowers? Is it the cake?
Have a chat and decide what are the important bits of the day for each of you.

This fun wedding had creative ideas provided by all their suppliers which led to a unique special wedding day with fun had by all the guest and especially the couple even in the rain !

These guys celebrated with all their friends in the park over stunning wedding cupcakes and and antipasti platter having a 1pm ceremony in June before heading off for couple photos on the beach at sunset and joining just the family at home for a family dinner.

They had the best of both worlds, time to celebrate with their friends and they did not have to spend thousands on a wedding reception.

Do yourself a favor and check out these great suppliers

When the sky is clouded over, the bonus is great photos !! however when do you make the call to use the wet weather option ?

It can be tricky, at this wedding the skies opened up on us just as we were about to start, and luckily all the guests were able to help, as we moved everything up into the dry undercover area, and when it stopped we moved it all back again.

Having the wet weather option is so important. Pelican Waters Golf Club has a perfect area that can be accessed quickly and easily, with great staff on hand to offer help as well. This lovely set up was done by the great team at Cloud Nine Weddings who create lovely styled ceremony spaces all over the coast

As a Celebrant one of the best tips I can share with brides to be is to hire a wedding stylist, here is Sue from Circle of Love preparing a lovely beach set up recently at Kings Beach in Caloundra.

It is worthwhile the small investment to know that it will be completed on time and the way it should be rather than attempting to do it yourselves or leave it to a family member or friend.

This wedding hired the funky Deluxe Kombi who did 3 trips to the ceremony location The Groomsman, the family then the Bride and her Bridesmaids, in Caloundra everything is so close together it is easy to share the transport.

After all the terrible weather we have been having on the Sunshine Coast of late today's wedding at Pt Arkwright was just perfect !! Although I think our couple wished they had chosen a 4pm wedding instead of 3pm as it was very very warm.

Always consider the time of your ceremony and where the sun will be when you are exchanging your vows, are you going to be looking straight into the sun? No chance of getting lovely ceremony photos when you are dripping !!

Once it gets cooler it is wise to have a 1pm or 3pm ceremony, however when it is very bright and warm then a 4 or 5pm is much kinder to everyone, guests included.

Wedding Rings - The ins and outs.

After the wedding ceremony is all over your wedding rings will be a lasting and constant reminder of your special day and the promises you have made to each other.

So I it is wise to spend some time to think about your wedding rings before the day.

Are you going to get a special few words engraved in them?
Can you use those words in your ring exchange wording in your ceremony?

How do you see your wedding rings?

What will they mean to you in the years that are to follow? It is great to include this in your ceremony wording.
Choosing a great celebrant means that they will discuss item like this with you, probably things you had never thought of.

Who will have the rings? This is another way to include loved ones in your special day.
Over the many ceremonies I have conducted here on the Sunshine Coast I have had couples use their pet dogs, their grandmothers, even their young children instead of the traditional best man option.
I offer my couples a wooden book plus some other options as well.
Having professional suppliers supporting you for your wedding will go a long way in reducing the stress of thinking of all the details.
