We absolutely loved our stay at this adorable bed and breakfast. We stayed in the yurt and it was so cozy and warm the entire time. Mary Beth and Fred are inviting, informative, and fantastic hosts. Breakfast in the morning was so delicious and the conversation at the breakfast table made us feel like we were sitting among family. We could have talked to this charming couple all day! I appreciated so much the mindfulness that is incorporated into everything...from serving their guests, the environment, and what they're putting on your plate. Thank you Mary Beth and Fred - we'll be back! :)

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary in July. Not only was the room very clean and cozy but Fred and Mary Beth made the stay that much more enjoyable. To start Mary Beth's cooking is out of this world. We honestly joked about wanting her to cook us every meal for a fee because her breakfast topped any of the restaurants that we went too. Two of our favorites were her basil syrup & her stuffed french toast! They both were very informative about what and where to go around town and each of them were a pleasure to talk to. They even took us around their property and showed us their yurts and garden (which they are using to cook the delicious meals). We also enjoyed how environmentally friendly their B&B was. We will definitely be back to stay again and have already told lots of our friends how amazing it was! Thank you MB & Fred it was so nice to meet you!!! Tessa & Will

My wife and and I spent our anniversary in one of the Cedar House Yurts. It was a wonderful experience in truly peaceful surroundings. We enjoyed the friendship, hospitality, and wonderful food. Mary Beth even worked to accommodate my wife's difficult dietary constraints. It was wonderful to be able to take all we enjoy about living a natural lifestyle with us on vacation. I highly recommend them.

I love the Cedar House Inn and Yurts! My husband and I stay here every year for the 3/6 Gap ride in September. We look forward to coming here every year. The grounds are just lovely, the rooms are large yet cozy and each room has a private bath. A scrumptious organic breakfast is prepared for you each morning, and fresh cookies are baked every afternoon. And the Innkeepers are such wonderful, friendly people. I promise you will not regret staying at The Cedar House! It truly is a sanctuary snuggled in the North Georgia Mountains.

My girlfriend and I stayed here in one of the yurts for the weekend and we couldn't have had a more positive experience. I would highly recommend the yurt to anyone who is on the fence and not too sure of what to expect. It is secluded a little bit back in the woods so you feel like you have privacy and are in nature, but it is very warm and cozy. There is an electric fire place and heater, and it is well insulated so we had no problem staying warm at night. With the chairs and mini fridge, it is the perfect combination of being able to be out in nature, but being warm and comfortable. Mary-Beth and Fred are great as well, very warm and welcoming, you can tell they really enjoy opening their house to others. The food is vegetarian and a little unique, but very good. The location is also perfect for anyone planning on exploring some of the beautiful Dahlonega vineyards. Wolf mountain is only a mile away and Frog Town is only about 15 minutes. Downtown Dahlonega is also a straight shot from the house and only about 10 minutes away. Overall the experience made for a perfect weekend get away.

There are two benefits to picking an eco-friendly B&B. First, obviously, is that your stay is environmentally friendly. But second, you, your hosts, and the other guests have a common interest. But on top of these benefits, the Cedar House Inn's owners, Fred and Mary Beth, are dedicated to making your stay comfortable and pleasant. The food is top-notch and made with love. When we arrived there was fresh banana bread and homemade chai tea ready for us. Our breakfast the next day, shared with the other guests at a large table, was multi-course and delicious. Fred and Mary Beth were happy to show us around their elaborate garden, explaining how everything is complementary and sustainable. And the lodging was very comfortable. Looking forward to returning.

Highly recommend! We had a fantastic stay at Cedar House. From the moment we arrived, Fred & Mary Beth made us feel like family, and breakfast the next morning was amazing. We're definitely going to come back and try the Yurt!
