Reading this article can dramatically increase your sociopolitical IQ, if you think there's equal opportunity now so: “The chance of a person who was born to a family in the bottom 10 percent of the income distribution rising to the top 10 percent as an adult is about the same as the chance that a dad who is 5 feet 6 inches tall having a son who grows up to be over 6 feet 1 inch tall,” Krueger observed in a speech. “It happens, but not often.”

The first #selfdrivingcar I see on the wild.
It seemed to be going really slow, and the car behind was totally geeking out on them. The two passengers were relaxedly chatting. I resisted the urge to follow it at this time, but according to one of the Google drivers there's only 2 of these in Mountain View right now, so it was a lucky spoting.

I think they just missed the opportunity to design it different than petro ones, but it is electric. Their theory on design for usability is really interesting anyways +Christopher Santos

We'll be there! Not in vain I just got a Wacom Drawing Tablet for my soon to be 15 years old ...
“Paint the Town” is a moving art experiment inviting artists in California to submit art to be featured on our self-driving cars, on our website and at an “Open Garage” community event in the fall.

Glass is dead, long live Glass
My friends keep sending this over so I'll post ...

Edit: even when this IO didn't have so many news at the keynote level, it was an amazing IO for me personally, because tech + friends can never go wrong.

We got some snacks from Google Express!
But why? Why does Google get in the business of deliveries?
I started naively thinking of why, and originally it almost seemed silly, they only charge $95 a year, it doesn't seem to be a money maker. But, when you think a bit more, they obviously have the will to compete with Amazon, and there's obviously two of the most fun Google X projects (#selfdrivingcar and #deliverydrone) that will commoditize the price of delivery to a whole new level and make many humans obsolete while at it. Looking at it from that perspective, it now seems pretty damn smart!

#deliverydrone  it look it wiil be the fastest way to delivery . No gas required , no traffic, no waist time on streets.Drones could localize you in google maps through your phone , smart watch, google glass or smart-wristband   and deliver wherever you are into the delivery radius ....lol :) ...lol.

We usually do take out from here, but it's the best place in town as far as the food goes. My fav dish is panang curry, together with tom kha soup.

Totally love their lunch specials that comes with soup, sides and main dish (usually panang curry). It can get expensive at night but food is delicious.

How can you not like free peanuts?? Tasty burgers and fries. Doesn't have many more options, but as far as a burger goes, they're pretty good and with a good selection of topics.
