CEC has received a purchase order for a four-zone natural gas-fired chain conveyor solution furnace for the T4 treatment of high pressure die castings to be installed in a casting facility in Mexico. The parts to be heat treated are automobile shock towers. This system includes a solution furnace, air quench, age oven, cool unit and four load/unload gantry cranes, and will process the castings at a rate of 90 castings per hour.

CEC has received a contract from a leading manufacturer of aerospace parts on the west coast for a Mobile Drop Bottom Furnace for the solution heat treatment of jet engine components.

CEC received a purchase order from a west coast manufacturer of aerospace propulsion systems for an Electrically Heated Atmospheric Braze Furnace. The furnace will be used to braze rocket components in argon and hydrogen atmospheres for space launch applications for NASA and commercial rockets.

CEC has received a purchase order from an automobile manufacturer in California for a T6 treatment system for their High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) parts. This system will be used to develop the lowest cost and highest quality processes for these types of castings.

A well-known automotive foundry in Germany placed another order for a CEC Sand Lion® furnace. This turnkey system will heat-treat engine block castings in aluminum alloy with the 3-in-1 process; heat treating metal, removing sand and reclaiming sand inside the furnace. This foundry now will have 5 of these 3 in 1 lines that process over 500 engine blocks per hour in total.

CEC has received two purchase orders from a company in Texas for a Mobile Annealing Furnace and a Copper Anneal Furnace. The Mobile Annealing Furnace will be identical to the two mobile annealers previously provided by CEC to this plant and continues the excellent relationship between our companies. The Copper Anneal Furnace will be predominantly used to anneal heavier gauge copper wire which will be used for residential and commercial wiring.
