We are delighted to have been selected as one of the core partners for the BBC’s World War 1 Commemorative Road Show events taking place across the UK this Summer.

Cavell Nurses’ Trust, alongside our amazing volunteers, are hosting a WW1 field hospital with bandaging, bed making and blood pressure checks for the public to try their hand at. The road shows are an amazing opportunity to share Edith Cavell’s story and raise awareness of our work supporting nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants.

Here are a few photos from the first event in Woolwich.

We've had over 50 people register their interest for our Cavell 100 event in 2015 including students, nurses, midwives and business partners.
Would you like the opportunity to climb Mount Edith Cavell in Canada and raise money for UK nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants? If so, take a look at our website for more info:

We had an amazing evening in the presence of HRH The Princess Royal last night at the 3rd Cavell Nurses' Trust Scholarship Awards Ceremony. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported our charity and help celebrate new nursing and midwifery talent.
A special congratulations to all our winners, runners up and highly commended students - an amazing group of inspirational and lovely people and we look forward to seeing your careers go from strength to strength!

Thanks so much to Birmingham band, Johnny Foreigner whose new single, Stop Talking About Ghosts came out yesterday with all proceeds going to help current and former nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants in serious financial need.

Stop Talking About Ghosts is only available via Bandcamp as a 'pay what you want' release, with all sales generated going to Cavell Nurses' Trust.

Frontman Alexei says: "political outrage aside, who wants to live in a world where the people who dedicate their lives to literally fixing us can even be allowed to get into debt.

"I can't think of a more noble profession than helping broken humans get better, and this seems the best practical and direct way we can help.

"So I hope our fans are as generous to them as they are to us."

The charity single is available to buy by visiting:, and their album which is out 10th March can be found at:
