Another opportunity this past weekend field assisting Dr. Beth Middleton and Evelyn Anemaet, both of the USGS Wetland and Aquatic Research Center, Lafayette, LA. The research project studies the longitudinal and latitudinal effects of climate change on select wetland ecosystems across the U.S. We were in the White River National Wildlife Refuge, near the eastern Arkansas border with Tennessee. Other field assistants in the photos are Eric Fuselier (Society of Wetland Scientists member from NW AR) and Omag Cano Villegas (PhD student from University of Durango Mexico).
