I spend most of my days covered in Mod Podge and glitter. Soon, I'll be adding baby spit-up to the mix. I am married to the best hubby in the world and love living in Los Angeles.
By day, I design crafts and craft products for Mod Podge. Our products are sold in major craft retailers across America, Canada and internationally. They can be found at Michaels, HSN, Amazon, Jo-Ann Fabrics, Ben Franklin, Target, Barnes and Noble, Walmart, Kmart, Create for Less and at independent craft retailers.
By night, I dream up new ideas!
I also dabble with TV and was Nominated for a few Daytime Emmys for my show, Creative Juice (HGTV & DIY). My crafty partner in crime, Steve Piacenza created and hosted more than 100 episodes of Creative Juice. I also produced on TLC's Craft Wars.
You can catch my work on/in NBC, ABC, TLC, Discovery Channel, HGTV, DIY, Food Network, Huffington Post, Rachael Ray, IVillage Live, MSN, Home and Family, Real Simple, Bust, Better Homes and Gardens, Redbook, Womens World and Life Magazine.
I've been crafty a long time......
I grew up in the Midwest and have been getting crafty since I can remember. I began sewing at 8 years old and have a degree in Textile Science and Fashion Design. My first job out of college was as a design assistant for Betsey Johnson.
Before venturing into craft as a full time job, I styled costumes for films such as Rushmore, Twister, Heartbreakers, Bottle Rocket, and Vanilla Sky during her 10 years as a stylist.
Me and my crafty partner in crime, Steve Piacenza are always off on a new adventure. Please visit our blog here: Handmade Happy Hour.
