Pointe is a technique of classical ballet where a student, wearing special Pointe shoes, balance and perform the dance, transferring all the weight of the body on the fully extended foot or tips of the toes.
Leaps and Turns Class is a technique class designed to assist students in focusing on the leaps, jumps and turns that dancers perform in Ballet, Jazz and Hip Hop.
Jazz Dance Class is a little funkier, a lot more face paced, Modern Jazz has its roots in Caribbean Dance forms. Jazz uses the techniques of Ballet as a springboard for modern moves with the hands, legs and body that define Jazz.
Hip Hop is a popular form of music and dance. We only teach appropriate movements and incorporate appropriate music to teach hip hop. We focus on sharp dance moves and making exaggerated movements. Hip Hop is very popular!
