In today's blog: Big changes are about to happen. Am I ready...? http://bit.ly/2batHy6
Social Buttons by Linksku · IMG_4878. Ever since finding out I was pregnant back in April, I've been consumed with worry. Am I going to miscarry again? Is this really happening? What am I supposed to do? These days, though, I'm obsessed with something else. Change. I mean, major change.

In today's blog: The things people never told me about being #pregnant.
Social Buttons by Linksku · IMG_2695. The other day my girlfriend, who has two boys and no plans to ever get pregnant again, told me that my hair was going to fall out. Really? Seriously? As if I needed anything else weird to happen to me! I just hit my fifth-month mark and, while we're elated ...

In today's blog: Pokémon Go is a Pokémon No for me. http://bit.ly/2a6nG2v
Social Buttons by Linksku · pokemon-go. The other day, on my way to work, three teenage girls in graphic tees and glasses walked right into me outside a 7-Eleven. It was clear from the iPhones in their hands and that strange swiping motion they were making they were playing Pokémon Go.

In today's blog: It's official! http://bit.ly/29LWdmr
Social Buttons by Linksku · IMG_3816. Some of you have guessed it. Others have wondered. And still others thought maybe I was enjoying my job as a food editor too much. But the truth is… I'm (finally) pregnant! It's been a long time coming — and honestly, I couldn't hide it anymore, ...

In today's blog: I have a long love affair with +Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park : http://bit.ly/1Qc4MHK
Social Buttons by Linksku · hvnp. I was eight years old when lava fountains from Kīlauea Volcano began building a cinder and spatter cone hundreds of feet high, spewing thick, chunky lava that later wiped out the towns of Kalapana and Kaimū on Hawaiʻi Island. More than 100 homes, a church and a ...

Social Buttons by Linksku · 11952828_10153460137116084_2364358172974244606_o. Not a day goes by that I don't miss my first dog, Joey, a black-and-white papillon. Every time I visit my parents, I expect to see his nose under the front gate or run toward me once I swing the garage door open.

I agree with you that our pets are sometimes closer to use than our human family. One that that we need to do is make sure there is someone to take them when we are no longer around. They deserve more than being dumped at the pound when we die.
