Native Angelenos, for all their surfboards and their Hollywood and their elaborate freeway system, don't know everything. In fact, they could learn a thing or two from those of us who've grown up elsewhere. Here are the things transplants could teach the locals, things that have the potential to turn...
Best known for its "charming" outdoor patio with a "Secret Garden feel" tucked away from Sunset Boulevard's "noise and hustle", this "old-time" British pub in the "heart of Hollywood" is a hangout for the "rich-and-famous all the way to the broke-and-clueless"; the "standard" bar fare is "pretty good", the "non-pushy" servers add "an informal flair" and the clientele is mostly "laid-back."
Food is good, service was a bit slow but the greatest thing about the Cat & Fiddle is their courtyard beer garden. Lovely place to be with friends in the sunshine, even greater as the evening draws in and all the pretty lights twinkle on.
I work right across the street so I come here all the time. Love sitting outside on the patio for lunch or for drinks after work. Food is very good and they give us 15% off with the PCD discount card from our building! I met the owner whos name is Ashley and now she always comes over and says hi to us if she's there. The Cat continues to be the unrivaled go-to place for our office!
The Cat & Fiddle will always be my favorite restaurant in Central Hollywood.
Always. Enough said. You have to go and experience it to understand why my review is so short because there is no constructive criticism to give back to the restaurant. They could not be running the business any better.
Love you guys!
