"Staying in the tower was nice, but the city/beach view was on the noisy side."

The hotel is very well kept. The views are great. The staff is very attentive. Rooms were larger than I expected for this price hotel, which was a nice surprise. The restaurant has a slightly limited selection, but everything was prepared really well. We were here during the off season but still enjoyed some live music at night. The selection of activities for both adults and kids looks great when it is in season. This hotel is located on the bay which is much calmer than the ocean, both with the waves and just the general hubbub going by on the bay front walk. It is a very comfortable place to relax. Get a bay front room the view is with it!

Had a great stay here. The garden koi ponds are nice. The beach is clean with a great view. Restaurant was top notch. Small bar in lobby has local beer on tap. Rooms were large, and comfortable, but not very modern.

My parents have stayed here a couple of times when they come to visit and I know it's nice because my mom is especially critical. The rooms are nice, most views are great, and they have live parrots and fish near the lobby. The location is convenient to the ocean and bay beaches as well as restaurants in PB.

Brunch buffet format big change. Brunch not as good but extra entree is good value: 3 to 4 high quality meals for $70.

We came to board the cruise around Mission Bay at night. Unfortunately, the boat was full due to a wedding party, but the staff was very courteous to us and did their best to accomodate us. We were not able to fit our party on the boat, but we will definitely come back!

I live on the bay very close to this hotel, and I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants the full San Diego experience. It's one of the most beautiful hotels and locations you might ever see, and I have traveled the world. I sincerely mean these words, and hope you enjoy this community and hotel as much as I am able to everyday.

Its unique and private atmosphere gives a convincing feeling of retreat from the city. The theme decor is thorough, and, being right up against Mission Bay, consistent even up to the shore. It's in a great location next to the ocean, Belmont Park, Garnet Ave., and Sea World, where there's plenty to do without even needing a car. Great experience overall.

Good value. But place is run down. The tower is very old inside and quite dark. That said the room has a lovely view over the bay. I probably wouldn't come back here.
