Facebook is one of the biggest sources of referral traffic for news and media sites .... just in case you thought it was dead ;)

How is Facebook influencing mobile content discovery? - Inside Facebook http://bit.ly/1jPk4eA (you may well be surprised!)

Possibly the most important part of this article is building or taking part in communities Cat. That and sharing of other's content or posts as you do.
The tools are just tools. The time of posting content depends on what you may do or who you share and where the reader of your content lives.
Using Google video hangouts can solve the distance issue for making friends from many walks of life. Commenting and responding to engagers makes for a fun experience, while also exposing you to others who may be reading your comment.

New 'Google My Business' Dashboard

In an effort to streamline the previously ridiculously awkward process of managing business tools on Google, today Google announced they have brought everything together.

It's cute. And it's a step in the right direction. Finally.

The reason it's only 'cute' though, is in order to access it via the 'google my business' link (in the article) I had to sign out of my google accounts to ensure I could sign 'in' with the right one. If I clicked on the link whilst signed into multiple google accounts, and then tried to change google accounts it would spit me out of the new dashboard tour and dashboard.

As I said ... it's a step in the right direction. And I'm sure it will help business owners and social media managers better manage their google assets and tools.
Google announced a suite of tools this morning for business owners, offering them a one-stop shop to update their business information, add photos, read..

Why Cheap, Outsourced SEO Will Cost You in the Long Run

I feel like I say this on a daily basis; "if you still think SEO is about keywords and links, you've got it all wrong". Further, if you think you can give your SEO to one of those companies that email you with promises of top rankings for a pittance compared to what you've been quoted here ... well, the adage that you get what you pay for couldn't be more true than in the SEO game.

However, now I have a list of 5 tangible costs, real costs as well as reputational costs, not to mention opportunity costs. In short, just.don't.do.it.
