As you celebrate the end of the school year, do you worry that your students won't retain what you've taught them? Summer is a break from school, but it doesn't have to be a break from learning. Understood and its founding partners have created resources to help parents keep their kids learning all summer long.

Encourage parents to visit the Understood Community to join conversations with experts about summer learning strategies.

https://www.understood.org/en/community-events/groups?utm_campaign=partner&utm_source=cast&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=summer
Ask parents who've been there. Join an online parent support group for learning and attention issues to get advice and talk with parents like you.

CAST works to expand learning opportunities for all individuals, especially those with disabilities, through Universal Design for Learning.
Introduction
CAST is a nonprofit education R&D group best known for defining and promoting the innovative concepts of Universal Design for Learning (UDL). UDL is a research-based framework for designing inclusive curriculum that is flexible and highly responsive to the needs of individual learners.

With UDL as a guide, CAST investigates creative solutions to today's core educational challenge: designing curricula to better serve an increasingly diverse population.
