US colleges court foreign entrepreneurs who need visas
"Colleges say the new programs are good for their local economies, but they also can help schools with recruiting international students — a group that is charged full tuition, unlike many U.S. students."

To stay, he needs an H-1B visa, a temporary work permit typically obtained through a lottery with lower odds of winning than a coin toss.

I contacted Carson & Kyung Law Office when I became frustrated with the S Corp for my business that was not completed by the lawyer I hired. It was almost 4 months before I saw that the application for the business was filed and the name submitted was not the one I preferred. I paid the lawyer up front for the formation of an S Corp. That was not done. We met Atty. Trevor Carson and explained the reason why my husband and I came to talk to him. He explained thoroughly what he can do and we agreed that he will pursue with the S Corp and change the name of the business. He wrote everything he said and will do, in the contract and I signed. In 3 business days he called us, he completed the S Corp and in the next 3 days we had our first meeting of the corporation. He submitted the form to change the name and I will hear from him very soon. Atty. Carson is very knowledgeable, very thorough and explained every detail of the By Laws of the Corporation as well as the protocol in conducting a corporation meeting. He even made a simplified By Laws that is easy to understand. He is a very good lawyer who knows how and when to deliver his services on a very timely basis. He answers email fast. I highly recommend Atty Trevor Carson to anybody who has problems similar to ours. Keep up the good work!

After my wife and I (I am a female canadian citizen) decided to make our home in the United States of America, we were looking for a lawyer to help us through the process of getting me a green card. We were looking for someone who was organized and who would explain to us the whole process and help us make sense of it, someone to support us in this complicated endeavour and who would always be there to answer our questions swiftly. Someone who made us feel valued and safe. Peter Min-Su Kyung did all of this and more. I couldn't recommend Mr. Kyung enough as a lawyer. He is professional, attentive and quick and he makes this entire process easy. His rates are fair and lower than what other lawyers charge and he is very honest. We were very comfortable with him and never once doubted that he would represent us fairly. We hired Mr. Kyung in April 2016 and had our green card interview in October 2016. We will definitely hire him again in a heartbeat if we ever had any immigration issues and we would recommend him to any of our friends going through the same trials.

My wife and I hired Peter to assist with our immigration case to apply for her green card. Not only is he very professional, but personable. He put all of our worries to ease and we are so thankful we chose him for our case. Peter makes himself very accessible and responded to all of our emails within minutes. He was always on top of our case, sometimes notifying us of news prior to us receiving it ourselves.I have no doubt that the success and quick duration of our case was due to his organized, thoughtful and diligent work. I would recommend him to anyone I know going through any step of the immigration process.

I have not words to describe how thankful I am that I found Peter Kyung to help me and my wife through the green card application process. Out of all the immigration lawyers I spoke with over the phone, he was the only one who insisted on meeting us in person before taking our case (A great sign). Also in his pricing was extremely high like others I spoke with and was average for an immigration lawyer (another good indicator). After meeting with Peter, I know immediately that he was the right lawyer for us. He was professional and very extremely nice. He explained every part of the green card application process and was diligent in making sure we had all the right paperwork before even submitting our application. He was there whenever we had a question and was more that happy to help. Peter's knowledge and experience led to a very smooth and easy process. Because of Peter, for us the process went extremely past and I am happy to be a green card holder. I would recommend that anyone who is in need of an immigration lawyer, to look no further and hire Peter Kyung as the lawyer, You will not regret it.

While I would describe the legal services I sought for as straight forward with minimal potential for complications, am I not one to take my wife’s status adjustment lightly. I love my wife and I wanted to be certain her application to adjust her resident status would be prepared with all the due care and attention as I would if I were a legal professional representing us. Integrity, compassion, and specialized experience in immigration law are among the many reasons why I chose Peter to represent us. I valued every advice he provided through electronic mail, telephone, and in-person visits – all of which was delivered with every bit of professionalism you would expect. The time Peter spent with us to prepare for and accompany us at the immigration office was especially enlightening, and comforting, respectively. I would not hesitate to recommend Peter to anyone.

This law firm, and more specifically, the work of Peter Kyung, is first-rate. My wife, who is an immigrant, had a somewhat tricky immigration situation, and we retained the services of this talented attorney. My wife's citizenship was recently approved, and Peter's involvement was a big part of it. We have been very impressed by Peter's combination of intelligence, professionalism, knowledge, experience, empathy, personal and communication skills, and attention to detail, while still staying focused on the bigger picture. He has the full range of relevant talents, skills, and personality characteristics, which helped keep us at ease and confident throughout the process. We are elated and relieved to have this rather stressful issue successfully resolved, and feel compelled to give Peter Kyung our highest recommendation here. Anyone with an immigration related case would do well to have him as your lawyer. You will be more than pleased with his performance!

My husband and I hired Peter Kyung to represent us during my husband's application for citizenship. He walked us through the entire process in a straightforward and very organized way that greatly reduced our collective anxieties. He is very knowledgeable and was able to speak with us thoughtfully and candidly to answer our questions and make sure our file was complete and had a good chance of being approved. As a result, USCIS informed us 15 minutes into our interview that our case would be approved that day, and it was. His green card arrived a few days later in the mail. Peter's counsel is worth every penny, trust us!

I had a great experience with Peter Kyung. He helped me with my application for an EB-1A, and the results were exceptional. We had our first meeting in late January, and I decided to hire him in late February. By July my case was already approved (via premium processing) and by October I had my green card. He was always available to go through all the different details, and he did a great job learning the intricate details of my research in order to write a compelling case. I completely recommend him!
