My sites were hacked last night, and a malicious code appended to my index pages. As far as I can tell, though, the attempt was rendered gibberish by my site management system, so I don't think there was any danger to my visitors.
I changed my server password and cleaned all the affected pages. Elf Life at elflife.net
is clean and operating as normally. My Antelucan site is clean, but was caught this morning by some Google bot or other, and has now been designated an "ATTACK SITE", so bells and whistles and sirens are likely to go off when you visit.
I have put in a review request with Google, but who knows how long that will take.
It's like I got hit by a rubber mallet by a hacker, followed up by a sledgehammer by Google. Pardon me for ranting, but, dagnabit! I didn't do anything! I'm not the culprit. This is like if I owned a small shop, and it gets robbed overnight, the police come by in the morning and write me up a huge, crippling fine for letting my store get robbed.
