Reveals of +Chrysta Rae
's 15th Scavenger Hunt for photographers are finished now, so here is an album with all of my contributions:
I really like the way his face is highlighted. Captured a very blissful moment here, me thinks.
To be honest, my son looks like he is kissing his bagle here rather than having a bite. I especially like the diagonal alignment of light in this pic.
Making pictures of spiders help me to tackle arachnophobia, so I do this a lot. In this case especially the clarity of the web construction amazes me...
I like the many details of the pic - the litte waterdrops on the feathers, the bigger drop on the nail of the beak, also the feathers themselves. But the overall impression is an elegant one.
Nothing more greasy than a grease cup. Me and the guys from the bike shop hat a blast playing around with different light settings and nasty ways to mess around with the grease. Fun stuff.
HANG IN THERE -
This is a random shot while taking a walk at the lakeside with my kids. I heard them girls giggling and singing from a far distance and could not believe my eyes, that they were having a bath in public at 4° C water and air temperature. Brrr.
Say hi to speed bug. I had such a nice idea for a setting, but this little one simply ran away all the time. So I ended up with a macro shot that has its focus a little in front of the bug. Couldn´t do better this time. LOL
Shot at the lakeside on a extremely windy day here. Those surfer guys really faced risk. But also really mastered their gear. Respect!
Played around with candles. No satisfaction. Played around with alphabet pasta and hot candle wax. Love the result, especially the light reflections and the smooth texture.
I like the shape of the tulip, but I have to admit, that I did not have much of an artistic inspiration here.
