Your privacy, and how you place it in the Facebook ecosystem, is something Facebook is counting on you to ignore. The choice is yours.

Everything I love in one place: #art #history #biography #curation... A #presidentsday post from the librarian at the Archives of American Art. http://blog.aaa.si.edu/2012/02/the-many-faces-of-honest-abe.html
Abraham Lincoln will always be remembered as one of our nation’s greatest Presidents. In the years since his tragic death many artists have sought to memorialize him, so in honor of Lincoln’s birthday (February 12) here is a look at a few artistic renderings. Larger than life Daniel Chester French, 1920? / Underwood & Underwood Studios, photographer. Forbes Watson papers, Archives of American Art, Smithsonian Institution. We all know that Lincoln...

Writers will love this article.
The Hemingway app analyzes text, and it promises to make “your writing bold and clear.”

It was too cloudy in Seattle to see this last night, so loving this chance to see it here.

Awesome #bloodmoon #eclipse
For those who were unable to view the "blood moon" lunar eclipse on April 14, 2014 due to global positioning, weather or timing, TIME has condensed the whole event into a nine-second animated GIF. ...

Why +SlideShare belongs in every B2B marketers toolkit. via +Jay Baer
Presentations are becoming less visual, as the rest of social media and content marketing becomes more visual. The new BlogShare presentation style is all about the words.

Here's how to ensure that Google does not use your face in its ads. Handy link at the bottom of the post. http://gizmodo.com/googles-going-to-start-sticking-your-face-and-name-in-1443861985/1462317340/@ace
It's party time, ladies and gentlemen. Exactly one month after announcing the move, Google has updated its terms of service, allowing the company to use your profile information in ads. That means your face, name and personal details will start popping up all over your network. Yay!

Story
Tagline
Marketing. Storytelling. Nice Gal.
Introduction
5 Things About Me

1. I tell stories. Most of them are true.
2. I teach social media and content marketing at the University of Washington. Go Dawgs.
3. I teach storytelling and marketing copywriting at the UW too. If you can only take one of my classes, take this one.
4. I have cried actual tears at work, more than once. This may, or may not have been the fault of something funny on the internet.
5. I only follow professional sports when my home town team is winning. Sorry.
6. I have three kids and a 100 lb dog. But I'd rather talk about triathlon.
7. This list used to have 10 things, but I cut it down. Because good editing is everything.

Bragging rights
I used to live in Japan, so I speak Japanese. The more beer we drink, the more fluent I'll get.

Chris Thayer has been my business and personal attorney for about eight years. Originally, I retained Chris for a personal matter, to help when we got into a dispute with the contractor who worked on our house. Chris handled a challenging situation with total professionalism, and when the contractor realized that we had such excellent legal advice, we were able to settle the dispute pretty quickly. It was a really stressful time, but having Chris back us up allowed me to sleep well at night. After such a good result, I started hiring Chris to help me with my company's business matters as well. Eight years later I can say that Chris is pretty much everything you want in an attorney: smart, helpful, thorough, ethical and respectful of your budget.

Ben and Maggie are a dream team who really "get" athletes and their needs. They are especially adept at diagnosing and working on sports injuries. Plan a long visit because each session includes not just excellent chiropractic, but also total wellness care that extends to lessons in physical therapy techniques, injury prevention and even nutrition. They actually teach you self-care techniques so you can come less often! No matter how many times I show up with some new running injury, they always work with me to get back on track for the next race. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to feel great, stay active and keep training.
