Gorgeous birds! They look very content among the briars as they forage for blackberries, Carol. I love blackberries, too, but every time I have picked them I've ended up either quite scratched (and miserable) if wearing shorts & short sleeves, or hot and sweaty (and miserable) if wearing long pants & long sleeves. Guess I need some beautiful feathers to protect my skin, like those of your Crimson Rosellas!
Morning Google+ Friends! A trio of Crimson Rosellas make a breakfast of yummy blackberries. Best wishes for Saturday. ~Carol ❤
Morning Terry & Ginger. Thank you both so much for your +1's. Because I have over 200 roses, Ginger, I invested in a pair of suede gauntlet gardening gloves that go above my elbows. Which are also perfect for working with blackberries. The thorns of both still catch on my clothes, which does annoy me. But I protect my eyes with a perspex flip shield. I had a close encounter with thorns which I don't want to repeat. I'm sure I look like I'm from outer space when I'm working in the garden. Always a pleasure to share with you. ~Carol ❤
