So cool!
Here's something you don't see every day: A glimpse at the internal structure of a rather large (and rather occupied) wasp nest. Put down the flamethrower and check it out. Trust us on this one, you'll want to see this.

Walking is good for us for many reasons, but I favor it when I need to think out a problem or brainstorm some new ideas.
We've seen time and time again how walking can boost creativity and mood. The above quote, from Ferris Jabr at the New Yorker, sums up all the studies we've seen so far in a pretty simple way.

It took me months to be able to focus on my breathing for 15-30 minutes a day, but once I created this habit I was able to focus better on work, and be calmer and more thoughtful in friendships and relationships. Worth building this into your life, whether or not you have anxiety -- any amount of time you can just be quiet and mindful is good for brain health.
Last week we discovered that mindfulness is more than just a buzzword.

It's no secret I'm a HUGE fan of how Stephen King talks about writing.  My lovely friend +Jessica Lahey interviewed him about how he teaches writing.  Enjoy!
Looking back on his days in front of a high school classroom, the acclaimed writer shares his views on grammar and explains why discovering great literature is like losing one's virginity.

Great advice from Beth Comstock about travel and thinking.
Travel is a big part of most business jobs and doing travel right should be invaluable.
