Carmen Amoros Amoros was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico and migrated with her family to the United States mainland when she was four years old. Within three months time after her arrival she spoke near fluent English and knew that she wanted to become a singer and an artist.
Carmen began singing at age 11 when she was asked to perform "America the Beautiful" at a school bazaar with her three younger sisters at age 10. She later went on to sing in church conventions as a soloist and with her sisters. By instinct she learned how to assign vocal parts and taught her sisters how to sing alto, first and second soprano.
As a soprano Carmen is able to produce a "G above high C
" giving her an overall compass of well over three octaves."
Carmen later went on to sing as a recording soloist with the Grammy Award winning Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. A member of the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs, she currently sings at venues on Broadway in New York, but continues singing Contemporary Christian music.

She also had the distinct honor of serving as second unit film director for the filming of New York City location footage for the movie Astro Zombies Movie 4 (AZM4
) - [seeTrailer], which is directed by Director Ted V. Mikels who wrote the screenplay for "The Godfather."
