Ballmer look, acts, sounds and thinks like the grandfather on "Everybody Loves Raymond". I don't know who will play Steve Jobs in the upcoming movie but if he was a few years younger Peter Boyle could play Ballmer.

You mean "a few years younger and still alive?" Sadly, Boyle passed in 2006.

I want. How much? Can i have it now, please?

This is one of the coolest things I've seen in a long time.

It's a ball, with many cameras inside of it pointing in all directions. You throw it up in the air and it makes a dynamic panoramic scrollable picture of the whole scene.

I want one very badly. I just don't know if this is a dream or real. Anyone know?

omg.. there is no one in the stands?  What was the attendance numbers for this mess.  The massive indy stands can make even a decent size crowd look small but this seems a bit vacant.

You took the comment, right out of my keyboard Carl.  Kind of sad.  Indy needs to get with the program or they will be out of business as well.  Even NASCAR has had less then great attendance.  They need to lower the purses and prices so cash strapped families can afford to come out to watch!  This economy sucks!

I have fond memories of msbay during that time.  I think I may still have the shirt Bradford gave me when we were working on the Dom/Com agreement.  I remember running into you during one of those visits.  I remember thinking back then that if they have Knaster working on it, they cant be doing it wrong.    Oh, and btw... thanks for giving us $50K sponsorship money for WebEdge III.
Believe it or not, there was a time when Microsoft dominated and everybody else hated them (only half of which is true now). The Internet in its role as Great Disruptor helped turn that all around, starting in the late 1990s...

Siri looks like a game changer.. cant wait to play with it.
Bill Gross originally shared:

Robert Scoble on why Siri is the future of the Web:

Web 1994 was the “get me a domain and a page” era.
Web 2000 was the “make my page(s) interactive and put people on it” era.
Web 2010 is the “get rid of pages and glue APIs and people together” era.

http://scobleizer.com/2010/02/08/why-if-you-miss-siri-youll-miss-the-future-of-the-web/

Have any of you tried Siri yet in private beta or anything? I'd love to hear how good it is.
