Words I’ve been pondering these days - "...love is wise, hatred is foolish. In this world which is getting more and more closely interconnected, we have to learn to tolerate each other, we have to learn to put up with the fact that some people say things that we don’t like. We can only live together in that way — and if we are to live together and not die together, we must learn a kind of charity and a kind of tolerance, which is absolutely vital to the continuation of human life on this planet."

This is from Bertrand Russell speaking on kindness and our shared humanity. But how can "a kind of charity and a kind of tolerance" spread in a world so often uncharitable and intolerant? How is it that we as people can act more kindly to each other?

Amid nonstop horrific news and a deluge of unkind acts, this is what I've been thinking about.

“Dress for the enchanted lake you wish to dispense swords from.” - Overheard earlier on Twitter

Recruiters who use "Geofencing" get dramatic results in new hires according to this NPR article. What's more, is that the targeted people like the attention rather than feel creeped out by Big Brotherly techniques. A surprising win-win.
