Not so nice if you are not staying in the Main bldg. with the higher priced Villa's. My family members who live locally are not allowed into the pool area. That is going to throw off our whole vacation! We planned on them visiting us here and spending a good amount of time just hanging out at the pool. I have never seen this hotel policy before! We are very disappointed and we have been here 30 minutes. If we weren't so tired from driving, we would check out already.

What a great video of your stay, Annie Stow! It looks like your adorable kids really enjoyed their time at the pool. Thank you for posting and we hope you have a chance to return soon.

The villa suites are very comfy and spacious. The master suite is large and accommodating with the smaller of the rooms being still spacious with closet space and the beds are a semi bed away from home. The small kitchen is fully stocked to allow for cooking away from home and the living room and/or screened patio is a nice way to lounge about when not by the nearby pool and/or hot tub spa. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms are cleaned and restocked daily. Oh. And the washer and dryer are a nice addition that makes dealing with laundry and spills easier to manage.

The hotel was pretty nice. The pool was great and it had the best workout facility I've seen in a hotel. The staff was OK, not the best but that might just be a one off thing.

Location is great. Rooms were great size. Everything was nice and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Had an issue with getting a pack n play for my baby but after we got that resolved everything else was great.

Inexpensive, elegant resort a mile outside of Disney, with spacious suites complete with jet tubs, office space, and living rooms. The centerpiece is the large pool area compete with waterslide. Separate pool for younger children, arcade, full gym, and the Venetian Chop House make this a great place to stay.

I appreciate the fact they had a military package, but if you're reading this, just stay at Shades of Green. I don't know if they treat the villas differently from the main hotel, but it wasn't the 3-4* hotel experience we were expecting. We stayed there for over a week and left wishing we had stayed elsewhere. The front desk was 50-50: either warm and friendly or annoyed that they have to help you. Housekeeping does not follow their own rules on when they replace towels and sheets. Housekeeping took both a comforter and a bath robe and didn't replace them. We were very concerned we'd be charged for both items. Unrelated to the villas, but their Disney shuttles are outright terrible. They are poorly retrofitted city buses from some company Caribe contracted out to. They are never on time. We went to Disney four days in a row and not a single bus was on time. One particular evening, we show up for an 11:45 shuttle and were informed that it left 15 minutes early. Caribe was completely unreachable, but another bus driver managed to contact their dispatch. As an apology, they sent a 14 passenger van. Only problem was that over 20 people were waiting for that 11:45 bus. So we ended up waiting another hour for their last bus to show up. When we finally arrived at the hotel well after 1am, the gal front desk issued no apology and said the night manager would contact us. Guess who stayed awake waiting for said phone call? We didn't talk to a manager until the next evening when we returned to the front desk. With that being said, the hotel itself is fairly nice. But if given given a choice, I wouldn't stay there again. Not because the experience was terrible, but because there are better places to stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at Caribe Royale. The rooms were really nice and I liked the amenities. I was there for a conference and felt like they hotel was scalping us. They charged astronomical prices for printing and food. I would give this a place a 5 star if printing was 4 dollars a page.

Rooms were clean and staff was generally friendly. There was some construction on site but confined to one section. We ate at the Venetian restaurant on site. Food was good but somewhat overpriced. No worse than other locked in dining such as that on the Disney properties but there are better values. Service in the buffet at breakfast was very good, but again, quite overpriced for a buffet. There were fewer staff visible than were needed on the property in general. I still enjoyed the stay and with some discounts it was quite a good value overall.

Pros: Very spacious, the cleaning staff was great. Great location Cons: the entire place is outdated. I didn't like the bed, it was extremely springy; but my husband was happy with it.
