Understanding the Nursing Home Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (NHCAHPS) www.careanalytics.net

(NHCAHPS) is not yet mandatory for Medicare-certified nursing homes. However, the survey instrument has been endorsed by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and it is anticipated that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) will soon mandate it.
