Year 3 completed a treasure hunt today. They had to answer mental maths questions to find their next clues! And there was some yummy chocolate treasure at the end.

As part of our ‘How We See Things’ Topic, this week Year 6 have been making pinhole cameras using Pringles tubes, a very simple but effective way to understand how our eyes and cameras work.
They also made circuits!
They learnt how to be safe around electricity as well as how to make a safe working circuit. They were able to control their circuits by using switches, including buzzers as well as motors.

During Year 5's Science this term they have been studying different properties and changing states. This week they performed an experiment where they observed and recorded what happened to different materials when we added them to water. They made sure our test was fair by measuring the same amount of water and the material each time.
Fantastic work guys!
