Remember that day you woke up and Chef Gabriel turned us into a Mexican restaurant?

You're safe with us for dinner tonight. Katt Williams has no idea where Wallingford is.

Very good quiet Italian Restaurant. It is a little buried back in Wallingford but a great place if your interested on going on a quiet date. Not too pricy either. Good choices for wine

Think thrice! before deciding to use this place for your evening plans. sub par for the ratings it has. Sevice was ok. my tiny water cup was filled up many many times. it hardly went empty. :) Honestly not very friendly service, you get more conversation/recomendation out of coffee drive through. Price vs portions, over priced. Flavour was there but no real explination of what it is I was eating. and they use more bacon(ish) in their food than I would have expected. I love bacon but for average plate price of 17.00 I can cook a lot of bacon myself at home. Mangement, I assume thats what he was, It flet like we were rushed our orders so they could kick us out and fill in more. our stay was about 2 - 2.5 hours. Sadly overall I felt like we were not valued as a customer at all. :-( I did enjoy the look and feel of the restaurant, the menu size was optimal, the wine list was wide ranged for all types of persons. i would go back if i new the service was improved. the service simply did not match the potential and expectations we had for the place.

Like Italy, this place never disappoints! The menu is simple but inventive. The fresh pastas are not to be missed. Service is impeccable. Don't miss the donuts for dessert. Perfect with a shot of real espresso. Molto bene!

I cam here late on a Thursday night with my Girlfriend. The two dishes we had were: 1. Butternut Squash Ravioli (3 out of 5) --> A simple dish, the noodle was excellent and the cheese stuffing gave a nice undertone. The sauce killed the dish. It was so salty my girlfriend had to order a glass of wine, well maybe it was just an excuse...) Also, the portion was very small, only 6 raviolis and we ended up grabbing a snack for her on the way home. 2. Pappardelle Bolognese (2 out of 5) --> I was very impressed with the noodles. Cooked perfectly and great flavor. Sadly, that was all I liked. The sauce was extremely salty, much more so than the ravioli. The meat was more of a fine mush and the sauce wasn't very robust. I expect a hearty sauce with chunks of meat and tomato and a hint of garlic. Overall, I give this place a 2 out of 5 which is disappointing given the reviews from everyone else. Maybe we came on a bad night, it was very busy with several birthday parties (gotta love a drunken rendition of happy birthday, or three). We might give it another chance, but it'll be awhile before we go back.

We had an awesome time! Stellar food, solid atmosphere. Tess took great care of us! Busy Friday night and we wanted for nothing. Cheers.

In my opinion, this is the most romantic restaurant in Seattle. The atmosphere is intimate and chic, and the menu is comprised of wonderful Italian dishes made with locally-sourced ingredients that are melt-in-your-mouth amazing.

My 4th stop into Cantinetta and I finally got to visit their Bellveue location which is just as beautiful. Both spots have a warm feel with perfectly soft lighting. Everything on the menu is absolutely incredible, I couldn't stop laughing at the review below about salt content! (Nothing was oversalted at all, reconsider dining out perhaps?) All of the appetizers and pastas are so mindblowing, its hard to save room for entrees and those infamous nutella zeppoles, but you MUST!! My best suggestion is to go with a group and share. And don't miss the papardelle bolognese while is still on the menu!! PS - bonus, the open style kitchen lets you take a peek at the magic of your food preparation, and say hi to the chef and cooks! They're very friendly!!
