I understand that you're frustrated that you didn't receive your parcel of goodies in our indicative time frames, however from what you've said, I'm glad that our customer service team kept you 'in the loop' at all times.
Out of stock items are something we can't fully avoid. In many cases, particularly if we're expecting an order shortly, we allow customers to place orders for products that are temporarily out of stock. To make sure that this doesn't adversely effect their event, we send them an email to let them know there has been a slight delay. If we haven't been provided with a specific date of event at the checkout, we send another email to ask for one. That way, if there is a risk your parcel will arrive after the date of your event, we can organise an alternative product or refund.
In most cases our couriers deliver to Melbourne overnight. As we had your order shipped on Thursday, you should've received your parcel on Friday.
Despite the delay, I'm glad to see you were happy with the products you ordered. Hopefully we can have your delivery made faster next time. Until then, enjoy your sweets.
