I was confused to start with; I remember the advertisement saying Sears and Canadian tire showed up. At the end of the day whatever company cleaned my carpet did a poor job. I have many houses and use different companies all the time this was by far the worst. I told the person on the phone what I needed and it’s like they didn’t communicate with the drivers. I moved everything and pre-vacuumed but they wouldn't move the beds. The price I was quoted almost doubled by the end of the cleaning and I paid it. Carpets were a bit crunchy and took a while to dry and I could see where he missed. The carpets then started to wave looked like the ocean I think from over wetting.

The technician arrived and informed us that we would have to move all our furniture out of the house and that they could not do one room. The price they quoted was at least two times higher than the other 3 companies that we had give us an estimate. When we tried to get a refund on the groupon deal because the fine print did not state that all rooms with hardwood floor have to be done, the technician was quite rude. Groupon was very good to deal with when we requested a refund.

I wasn't very good at keeping the carpet in my apartment, so, when it came time to move out, I was worried. I called Sears, they sent out a guy named Steve. He was nice, knowledgeable, and very good at what he was doing. In the end, the carpet came up almost as good as new, and I ended up getting the full deposit back. I would most certainly reccomend going with Sears if you need your carpets cleaned. There may be places with better prices, but you're not going to get better work than you'll get out of Sears. Also, with the Sears name backing them up, you know that you've got a warranty worth having.

STEVE was the guy they sent out. He was friendly, informative, helpful and just great to talk with. He did a thorough job in a short amount of time. Very satisfied with the service. ROCK ON STEVE!

I should have read the written comments before using this service. I had one room to clean. Some guy came with no care in the world and gave me a whole jargon about carpet cleaning. It took him less than fifteen minutes to do the job. The carpet looked dirtier than it was before. Furthermore, he did not clean under the sofas and left a whole mess there, adding some new stains and crisscrossed streaks in the bargain . It simply was a hateful job. The following day, I called to complain. They sent me a new guy who was very caring and did a better job. Matt was very thorough with everything. He got rid of the stains and was a good listener. If you want to use this service, then Matt would be the guy to ask for. I have decided to get rid of the carpet and use hardwood floors. In the long run, it pays beautifully.

The tech arrived late. Showed him my Groupon he rolled his eyes and try to up sell me $160 worth of extras. When I didn't want any extras he started to clean my carpets and was finished a 3 bedroom, living room dining room house in 20 minutes and left. When to carpets dried 38 hours later most of the stains returned. Sears or Canadian tire carpet cleaning what ever your called awful service and cleaning job.

I booked carpet cleaning through Sears since they are big name. But a BIG mistake. Booked them for "basic" cleaning but still ended up taking sanitizing and scotch guard for additional $60 for 3 small rooms when the carpet cleaner arrived. They make it sound like they don't do anything in "basic" cleaning. So I didn't wanted to cut corners for additional $60. What a WASTE. The guy who came to do the job was just hopeless. The 3 rooms looks and smells the same pre and post carpet cleaning. So it was just a waste of my time and money in booking thro Sears. This was my first time with Sears and definitely my last time. I am very very disappointed with their lousy service. In 30 mins 3 rooms were done and the guy walked away saying he was done. When I showed him all the carpet that still looked dirty....he ignored me and said that "this is all he can do". Seriously...... Stay away from these people. Better shop else for good service.

My Carpet was left soaking wet & still dirty. I asked how long it would take to dry, and was told 6 hours. Their coupon claims "powerful extraction." After he arrives the cleaner informs me there is a fuel charge, to which I told him this was not mentioned in the voucher. He insisted on my paying it. This service and the guys they hire are very unprofessional and incompetent. Too bad they re working under the Sears name which misleads you to believe this is a reputable company.
