Campus Party is a 5 day, 24/7 technology event which immerses hackers, developers, gamers, geeks and more in a truly unique festival environment.
Recognised as the biggest electronic entertainment event in the world, Campus Party unites the brightest young minds in technology and science under the idea that the “Internet is not a network of computers, it’s a network of people.”
The festival features over 500 hours of talks, debates, workshops, competitions and hackathons related to science, innovation, digital entertainment and creativity; and hundreds of hours of ad-hoc events planned by participants that continue throughout the night.
In the past 16 years, the 250 people who attended the first Campus Party have grown into a global community of over 264,000 campuseros with annual events taking place in Brazil, Colombia, Spain, Ecuador and Mexico in addition two special European (Madrid, Berlin), Mediterranean Basin and Ibero-America editions.
In 2013, it is being hosted at The O2 in London in partnership with Telefonica, UKTI and the UK Government.
