I bought a new travel trailer for Camping World of Chattanooga last Spring. The sales process went nicely with the usual pressure to buy, but not excessively so. We agreed on a deal and I signed the purchase agreement. I took possession three weeks later. The walk-thru went well but was too fast. I regretted not holding the mechanic longer to ask more questions. A small item missing from the kitchen blinds was promised to get replaced that day. It did not. It took nearly a month to get my title, even though I paid cash. A subtle threat to sue them finally fetched it. Now, six months after the sale, I have not gotten a single communication from them. You would expect a call or an e-mail saying they appreciated my business and asking how the trailer was doing. Keep all this in mind if you go to them.

Bobby the salesman lied to me. I called about pictures of a camper I really loved and Bobby convinced me to give them my card number to hold it. I asked about 30 times if there were any penalties, cost or fees to this and he promised me over and again that if we changed our minds for any reason our money would be promptly refunded. The amount he charged was so high it may make me cry again to qrite it out. I just have so much faith in my banks garentee against any wrong charge that I have the number based on Bobby's MANY promises that I could just call him if I changed my mind and he would refund it just like that. I even got my phone to record some of it and got him saying that if we found something from a different seller just tell him and he'll refund it. My husband is military and they changed his leave so we actually couldn't leave, then my toddler got sick and I knew we didn't need to make that trip. My husband was getting leave because he starts ALC on Monday and he was gonna get Tuesday - Friday and sign in Friday for us to go off and have family time. He will be gone for two months so I called and told Bobby thank you so much but we will have to keep looking and see what happens after my husbands alc with our baby sick especially. Bobby then started telling me that they will keep my money if I don't come see it. I told him I had him recorded promising me I would be promptly credited if anything happened and we didn't want it. After I told Bobby that, he started screaming at me that I had to come see it or else lose our savings. I begged as nice as I could to speak with a manager but Bobby said they were too busy. After Bobby was so mean and crazy and astonishingly rude and unprofessional there is literally no way I'd buy anything for him. I asked for a new salesperson. Everyone kept transferring me to someone else's voicemail when I kept calling. I called my wonderful Bank of America and they got me on a three way recorded phone call with Eric in finance who heard the whole story and said there was no reason I should not be refunded because I'd never even seen the thing and they don't do business like that...then he transferred me and my bank attorney and our recorded phone call to the mangers voicemail. I read some crappy reviews about people standing in line too long and I thought that was a bad reason to leave a one star review. This is a real reason to leave one star folks. I have learned my lesson, I hope someone is smart enough to learn from me. I know the CEO of camping world has a tv show and seems like a great guy. Tomorrow I'm gonna try to call him. Update: Bobby the salesman not a nice person. I didn't talk to any other salesmen, but the obvious problem with this place is the salesmen work of commission, and the more fees they can tack onto a price the more commission they get I bet. Eric the finance manger did refund me after I called corporate and called the store back with my bank again. I don't think the company really understood how aggressive and bullying Bobby's technique was to customers. Maybe they did...but I honestly hope not. Bobby was unscrupulous and made promises that he never intended to keep...he pursueded me to o give him my card number making it sound as easy as returning something to Kohls. Lol. I think there should be more laws with selling these things like there are with cars and more true pricing. There are a lot of ways a person can get tricked when buying a camper. Be careful out there folks.

We are full timers and as most of you know it can be a real pain trying to get repairs made in a day when you live in your coach. We have taken our Redwood to CW Chattanooga twice and I can't say enough good things about how fast they work and the quality of the work is first class. They even providedaplace for us to camp the night before our appointment.

Don't buy an RV from here if you can help it. My wife and I bought a class C from here and we were continually told lies throughout the entire deal. They made sure to tell us what we wanted to hear, but never actually did what they promised. They claimed at time of purchase that they had run out of Drive-out tags and that one would be overnighted to us. 10 days after we arrived home and still no tags. Called them and they said they had just came in, and would be overnighted - still no tags. I could write about MANY more issues we had, but don't have enough time to. Bottom line, all they care about is $ and the sale. They could honestly care less about the customer. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!

Terrible aervice from the service department they couldn't find my keys and told me the concerns I had were solved. Was told I lied about keys only to find them on that person's desk. Did walk through and none of the concerns were even touched. Sorry attitudes and sorry service. A company is only as good as it's service department. I even went as far as putting sticky notes on every item I wanted looked at and yet they could not understand what was wanted. How hard is it to understand "Panel on Cabinet is peeling" it was a brand new unit at the time

One of the top RV sales and service in the country. We had a full Wall Slide malfunction last Sat in GA. Finally got in retracted and headed straight to this location. We checked in at 8am on Mon and we're back on the road at 12-noon. Awesome service and repairs. Great staff.

We live in Alabama and called them to make sure they had the part we needed. Drove two hours only for them to tell us oh no we don't any. This happened 3 times already. We are good Sam members and will not renew our membership with them at all ever. The worst place I have ever seen to try to buy something.

It's apparent that the salesmen really only work with you if you are a serious buyer. We had been looking for quite some time and really had no help, but once we found one we liked, they were on us like white on rice. It's a shame that our salesman got a commission because he did not deserve it...he did nothing to sell us the camper. Also, our salesman had no idea about what he was talking about when it came to the type of tow vehicle that our camper required. The sales manager needs to teach his salesmen that they need to do more than drive around in a golf cart or sit in the lobby drinking coffee and talking about football. The sales manager has no personality either, so that's probably why his staff is terrible at their job. After the purchase, we had to come back to pick it up. The sales person that we worked with acted like he hardly new us. We had an issue with the camper (broken shelf which was already broken before we purchased it) that we were told would be fixed and it still has not been fixed. Emails went back and forth, but they are all a runaround. There is a reason these guys have jobs selling RV's.....they aren't smart enough to make it in a real career. That's why they will always have a job with their name on their shirt for the rest of their lives. Marcus Lemonis (CEO of Camping World) needs to stop being "The Profit" and get his own company corrected. If you are in the market to buy an RV, make sure you do your homework, especially if you are buying one from this Camping World location.
