We live in Alabama and called them to make sure they had the part we needed. Drove two hours only for them to tell us oh no we don't any. This happened 3 times already. We are good Sam members and will not renew our membership with them at all ever. The worst place I have ever seen to try to buy something.

It's apparent that the salesmen really only work with you if you are a serious buyer. We had been looking for quite some time and really had no help, but once we found one we liked, they were on us like white on rice. It's a shame that our salesman got a commission because he did not deserve it...he did nothing to sell us the camper. Also, our salesman had no idea about what he was talking about when it came to the type of tow vehicle that our camper required. The sales manager needs to teach his salesmen that they need to do more than drive around in a golf cart or sit in the lobby drinking coffee and talking about football. The sales manager has no personality either, so that's probably why his staff is terrible at their job. After the purchase, we had to come back to pick it up. The sales person that we worked with acted like he hardly new us. We had an issue with the camper (broken shelf which was already broken before we purchased it) that we were told would be fixed and it still has not been fixed. Emails went back and forth, but they are all a runaround. There is a reason these guys have jobs selling RV's.....they aren't smart enough to make it in a real career. That's why they will always have a job with their name on their shirt for the rest of their lives. Marcus Lemonis (CEO of Camping World) needs to stop being "The Profit" and get his own company corrected. If you are in the market to buy an RV, make sure you do your homework, especially if you are buying one from this Camping World location.

the buying part wasnt bad, found a camper in our price range.the issue is after you buy a camper.dont waste time calling them all you will get is a voice mail.if your camper needs repair do it yourself if you can, itll save time, frustration and money.i wound up paying $459.00 to caulk the roof an fix the toilet that would not hold water.this was a used camper, salesman said the roof would be resealed before we left with it.obvious lie.what goid isan extended warrenty if one still pays to get it fixed? fyi i changed the toilet gasket myself, olive oil was suggested to recondition said gasket..

I would not recommend buying your camper from here. Robert and Shane helped us purchase our camper. Our camper had 2 issues despite being brand new, one was being a control panel cover had become unglued and the other being a mattress that didn't fit the loft area (despite all of their efforts on trying to smash it down). We agreed to purchase the camper as long as these items were fixed on pick up. Robert and Shane both assured us that this wouldn't be a problem. Neither of these issues were fixed when we arrived to pick up the camper. We live 2 hours away and decided since we had already drove so far to bring it home and they assured us again that the items had been ordered and would be fixed soon. Robert was rude and lied to us a couple of different times when I called them to get an update. (We later found out he was fired, which didn't surprise us) Shane was nicer, but in the end he also did not follow through on his word either. Now Camping World is refusing to even help us on the mattress issue at all. They do not stand by their word, or their products. Take your business elsewhere. - Andrew & Rebecca Coleman

Don't buy an RV from here if you can help it. My wife and I bought a class C from here and we were continually told lies throughout the entire deal. They made sure to tell us what we wanted to hear, but never actually did what they promised. They claimed at time of purchase that they had run out of Drive-out tags and that one would be overnighted to us. 10 days after we arrived home and still no tags. Called them and they said they had just came in, and would be overnighted - still no tags. I could write about MANY more issues we had, but don't have enough time to. Bottom line, all they care about is $ and the sale. They could honestly care less about the customer. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!

My wife and I purchased an rv to live in. So we needed one that would be ready for winter. The day we came in we were left to wait for almost an hour for the salesman. Then we had to wait even longer on the finance guy. We were there all day for something that should have taken a few hours. We were starving to death by the time we got out of there. We were told that the unit we purchased would hold up in cold weather. We were told the under carriage wouldn't freeze as long as we ran the heat. We took all the precautions by buying heated hoses and insulating anything that wa exposed. Our second night in the rig and the undercarriage froze up. When I called the only answer I could get was, "they all freeze up in the winter." Not much help. I went into the store to buy an extra heated water line. I waited for over ten minutes to check out and i had to look for someone to wait on me. Two employees were having a chat at the end of an isle. Then the lady who checked me out kept hounding me about buying a warranty on the hose. She was relentless and I had to get rude. Every experience I have had there has been unpleasant. Their customer service is atrocious and they constantly try to upsale you. We want to buy a class A in a few years and I can tell you that camping world will never see another dollar from me. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Campground is OK for the price just to stay over but it is obvious management really doesn't care about the campsites and are putting minimal money into keeping it up... they seem to focus on sales and service. No WiFi, picnic tables are gross and landscaping is poor... Pool was closed a month early because they did not want to refill it after they had a problem with chemistry. However, they did not reduce the price of the site though. Restrooms are clean.People staying short and long term are really nice. Service department is OK and the service representative helping me with my unit, Jordan is very courteous, keeps you informed on that status of repairs or parts. If you buy a unit from them BEFORE you leave with the unit, I would require them to demonstrate EVERYTHING works... No leaks, show you how to do everything.. get an experienced person to show you everything.
