This is the best thread I've read in some time. The suggestions are golden.

Been trying to test out the Recon Jet for the past few days. It only took approximately 14 tries to get it to update correctly, and I've attempted to pair it with my phone no fewer than 19 times now. Still won't connect.

This might be the most frustrating device I've ever used.

Just listening to last week's podcast, I'm glad you like the Pixel C. I totally agree, it's super fast!

I am tempted. It is clearly designed for the next version of Android ("N") so until that comes out has missing features e.g. split screen. I want to wait until they buff out performance issues. Software for Pixel C was rushed out the door it seems. But OMG the design seems lovely and very useable.

Leatherface.

My favorite horror icon of all time is coming to Mortal Kombat X. I can't believe this is real. Stoked is not even the word for how I feel about this.

And a Tarkatan-ified Xenomorph? Oh my God. I hoped for Baraka, but what a beast this thing will be. Monstrous.

The Tri-borg also looks freakin' awesome, with Cyrax, Sektor, and freakin' Cyborg Smoke slammed into one.

I could've done without Bo Rai Cho's drunk ass, but I'll take it.

Kombat Pack II can't get here soon enough.

Just committed to ride the Holiday Ramble Gravel Grinder with a buddy of mine. We're doing the 100k (65-mile) route.

Anyone riding bikes in the Dallas area wanna join us? +Ricky Pike maybe? I don't have a gravel bike yet, so I'm doing this one on my mountain bike.
Happy Holidays from the Spinistry crew! You need a gravel fix and we are here to deliver in style. Options range from an "easy" 50K to a to a full weekend of bike packing and exploration for the adventurous folks out there. There are no SAG/sweep vehicles to retrieve broken down or lost riders. Riders must be capable and self sufficient to deal with any issues which might arise. This is a FANTASTIC all weather route through the Cross Timbers Fo...

+Ricky Pike Definitely! Endurance riding is mostly what I do. This is my first go at a gravel grinder, testing the waters to see if I want to invest in a full-on gravel bike.

I started with a makeshift standing desk, then went to a Varidesk, and now I'm on an Ikea Bekant sit/stand desk. To be honest, it only gets lowered for sitting a couple of times a week (at most), as I've found that I just prefer standing most of the time. And when I do sit, it's on a balance ball.

Also, I would recommend trying something makeshift first (like this: http://lifehacker.com/5919778/build-your-own-sturdy-good-looking-standing-desk-for-less-than-25), then just going straight for something like the Bekant. Varidesk and the like are OK, but leave a lot of the desk unusable when standing, so they're pretty inefficient when it comes to actual workflow. Love my Bekant, though.

Thinking about standing while you work? These products can get you started.
You don't have to buy a new desk to start standing.

I've been using a standing desk at work for almost two years now. A couple of notes: I like to stand for 1/2 the work day. It helped a lot when I get a nice floor pad. It also helps to stretch out occasionally. This post has got me thinking about getting the StandStand for my home office. Not a bad option at all.

I was a guest on the Bawl! On Bulls podcast this past week, which we recorded on Sunday before the Cavs game. It was a blast! If you like the Bulls or ball in general, give it a listen.

The Bulls show is in the small subsection in the right corner of the page. The episode title is "Cool. Cam. Collected." haha.

Also, I made fun of one of the host's phone a little bit.

Been working on cataloging my Buckethead collection in chronological order to see how many of the Pikes I'm missing (probably a lot). I have a playlist going, and I'm up to 2012 right now. I've got his first 43 albums covered, including the first handful of Pikes. Also picked up a few of the earlier Pikes I was missing while they're on sale for $2 apiece, but I haven't uploaded them to Play Music yet.

I hope to eventually pick up all the Pikes, but he releases them at such a blistering pace I can't keep up. Hell, in October of 2015 alone he released a new Pike every day. Crazy.

I use my iPad very, very little. But when I try to update apps, it does this and won't go any farther. I don't use this thing enough to justify spending however much time it will take to figure out what's wrong with it, but I'm ready to throw it at a wall.
