Make sure your #GreenvilleSC #Realtor is more interested in selling #realestate than growing a team. #Focus is on you http://ow.ly/Ka9Ui

Feels like I'm seeing a spike in Realtors who actually want to be the gym teacher who can't run the mile. Pre-occupied with anything other than actually selling real estate.

Don't trust your biggest #investment to a #realestate part-timer. We're invested in your success w buying or selling! http://ow.ly/Ka9rz

Tailgating is half the reason to go to a concert, and there is no place to tailgate here. Ridiculous.

UPDATE: No surprise that they closed. /// Stop selling Groupons! Seriously, if you can't keep up with your business, and you're going to decrease your food quality, why do you keep discounting your food? Prime example. This was a must stop whenever we had a visitor from out of town. The lobster mac n cheese was an award winner at Fall for Greenville, the truffle aioli tater tots were amazing, and the chicken and waffles were amazing. All food that you would take a picture of for social media. The first two are completely off the menu (yes, the silver spoon winner at Fall for Greenville no longer exists), and the chicken and waffles has been reduced to four chicken strips, on four pieces of (no longer sweet potato) waffle, with nowhere remotely close to the presentation. Honestly, if you are going to reduce your food quality, why do you continue to offer groupons??? Top it all off with the fact that we arrived tonight at 6:35, sat with only water for 35-45 minutes, finally got out first drinks, then waited an additional 25 minutes for our food that we ordered with our initial drink order! The lack of thought in the marketing and quality balance is remarkable!

Hotel felt unfinished. Spackle on walls, plywood ceiling (could have been the design), old wiring capped off and sticking out of walls. Location is the only positive for this hotel, especially at $209/night (pre-taxes) and $28 per night for parking.

UPDATE: After finally managing to get a seat a few months after writing the review below, we absolutely love Trappe Door. From the atmosphere to the food, you can't go wrong, but make a reservation! ///// Couldn't really tell you how it was. Got there at 7pm tonight. They told us 30-45 minute wait, "45 minutes MAX". 8pm, and 30 more minutes. Had no choice but to go somewhere else.

Overall nice hotel and friendly staff. First room smelled like curry (a lot), but staff was quick to move me. Great location.

UPDATE: We took a year off after writing the review below, and kept hearing our friends rave about Bacon Bros. We went back for the second time about two months ago, and have been back two more times. One of our favorite restaurants in the Upstate now! //// Blah. Honestly, they are trying REALLY hard to be amazing. They are farm to table, they bring your knives over in a cigar box, and they are a la carte as my burger was just the burger, nothing else. The Burger (its name) fine, nothing special, even though it sounded amazing in print. My wife's bratwurst only slightly above average, but factoring in the price only drops the rating further. Now, let's talk drinks. This is a public house, with a menu that prides itself on a 50 mile radius, yet their draft list consists of Bud Light, PBR, and Sierra Nevada??? OK, you can get two Quest (great local brewery) on tap, but Thomas Creek (brewery 10 miles away) comes in a $5.50 bottle??? This place needs to be 90% craft brews, or have more than 6-7 taps in order to survive. Speaking of survival, it has a chance, but they have some serious work ahead of them. Yeah, they the talk of the town now because they are new, but theyll only ride that wave for so long.
